| Exposed: The Naked Form
The Nude is a classical subject in Fine Art and long constituted a critical portion of artists’ formal training. Exposed is a review of some images of the naked form in contemporary practise, focussing on artists who embrace the psychological or emotional territory traversed by both artist and sitter. Artists to be announced.
Images are being prepared. Contact gallery for further information.

| Standing Sitting Lying
For Nick Miller, portraiture is simply a way to try and meet the world; distilling some of the energy of that encounter with a sitter in paint. The presence of a person and their participation is a gift he treasures. These naked watercolours are of those who wanted to be painted nude. They are not commissions, but works of adventure.

| Truckscapes
Nick Miller (B. UK, 1962) lives and works in Co Sligo, Ireland. His studio practice focuses on apparently traditional 'genres' - his focus moves continuously between Portraiture, Still Life, Landscape and the Figure. All are connected by an insistence that he works only directly in the presence of his subject - with people or objects in the studio or landscape from the back of his mobile studio - a converted truck. Drawing and painting are valued equally and driven by his commitment to distil the energy and validity of the encounter between artist and subject. His work has an intensity of vision that challenges expectations of being in, seeing, and painting the world. Recent exhibitions: RHA Gallery Dublin, Butler Gallery Kilkenny, Rubicon Gallery Dublin.
