Hannes Malte Mahler

Hannes Malte Mahler was born in 1968. He lives and works in Hannover, Germany. Hannes Malte Mahler is a graduate of the Braunschweig school of arts and a Meisterschuler(postgraduate) of Marina Abramovic.
Though performance remains a key issue in Mahler’s work, all kinds of media can be found if they suit the intended purpose(installation, photography, print, etc).
Where do we come from, where are we going, who are we, the artist’s work(ing space), family, the wild, wild west, the german itself are issues Mahler has been reflecting in his work.
